Situated on the eastern shore this area of Loch Lomond is the gateway to many iconic walks, the climb up Ben Lomond, The West Highland Way or the Ardess History Trail.

This cruise is bookable from the 4 May - 29 Sep 2024

Start your exploration of this area at the Rowardennan Youth Hostel where you can decide on your days itinerary. For spectacular views across the National Park you can climb Scotland’s most southerly Munro, Ben Lomond.

Owned by the National Trust for Scotland, the path takes you to the summit of Ben Lomond (3,192 ft). This rocky trail is well trodden to the summit with much of the hillside designated as a site of Special Scientific Interest.

As with all mountain walks, suitable footwear and clothing must be worn. Dogs must be kept on a lead as there is livestock on the hill.
