Cruise Loch Lomond has a fleet of seven passenger cruise vessels making us the largest private passenger cruise boat operator in Scotland.
The fleet are maintained to an extremely high standard ~ all vessels have twin decks, with an enclosed saloon as well as an open deck. Each vessel has a bar on board with tea / coffee facilities, as well as toilets.
The current fleet of seven vessels allows the company the luxury of being able to allocate a vessel exclusively for each group, and private party at a time that is suitable to your timings and itineraries. The fleet also ensure Cruise Loch Lomond can offer flexibility and a reliable back up service second to none.
The Company has a substantial Boat Yard and slipway in Tarbet, Loch Lomond where the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) carry out annual surveys on the vessels and issue passenger safety certificates. This facility is a major asset to the Company allowing any necessary maintenance and repairs, as well as cosmetic work to be carried out on the fleet. Subsequently all vessels are kept to an extremely high standard.
Meet the fleet
MV Lomond Prince
The largest vessel in the fleet the Lomond Prince has a capacity for 126 passengers; however for private, corporate and wedding charters we limit the vessel to 75 guests for a drinks reception; 70 guests for a buffet and maximum of 48 for a formal meal.
Lomond Laird
The vessel has numerous facilities on board with twin decks; a fully stocked bar and toilets. The top deck saloon can offer accommodation for a band and buffet as well as suitable area for dancing.
In the lower saloon there is a fully stocked bar, toilets and formal seating.
The Laird shares a similar layout, on a slightly smaller scale, to that of the Lomond Prince. The vessel was recently refurbished and is ideally suited for private functions for 25 to 40 guests.
MV Lomond Chieftain
The Queen and Chieftain are sister vessels with identical layouts, both having a ticket for 80 passengers.
The vessels have a sociable open plan layout in the lower saloon and are ideally suited for smaller and more intimate parties of 10 to 25 guests for drinks and buffet on board.
MV Lomond Queen

MV Lomond Princess
The Princess was purpose built on the Clyde as a passenger vessel for Loch Lomond and spent all her cruising career on the Loch.
The vessel has a traditional layout with two lower saloons and open top deck.
MV Lomond Warrior
MV Lomond Warrior is one of our two smaller vessels in the fleet with a ticket for 52 passengers. However she is the quickest and ideal for ferrying and shuttling groups across the Loch to access Ben Lomond and the West Highland Way.
The vessel returned to our ownership two years ago having spent sometime on Loch Ness. The Lomond Warrior was the original Lomond Queen and the vessel that started Cruise Loch Lomond in 1978.
